Internship, Volunteer and Employment Opportunities
We are not hiring at this time.
Prometheus volunteers do everything from lobbying in DC to building radio towers, designing fliers to making food.
Live in the Philadelphia Region?
We have both short and long-term volunteer opportunities and we would love to meet you. Attending a volunteer orientation is the first step to supporting our work locally and offers a great opportunity to meet others working to change the media landscape, hear more about our work, and find a way for you to play a part. Complete a Volunteer Interest Form today!
A list of our current opening can be found here.
Outside of the Philadelphia Region?
Although we most often need volunteers local to Philadelphia, groups that are working to start station can use your help. Create a profile on RadioSpark and join the Community Radio Volunteers Group to connect with opportunities in your area.
Join us today and learn more about our work and how you can help new community stations get on the air.
We welcome interns seeking to gain useful skills and a meaningful experience in the movement to democratize the airwaves and the media. We bring on interns on a rolling basis as our organization capacity permits.
Interns who are college students are eligible for course credits. Other benefits include a rewarding experience, training, a letter of recommendation, and possible to travel with Prometheus. Time commitment is flexible: 15-30 hours per week is desired.
To apply, send a resume and cover letter to info [at] prometheusradio.org. In your cover letter, please indicate your areas of interest, the dates you are available, and how many hours per week you can commit.
